Returns for Exchange / Store Credit, and Cancellation Policies
Extended Christmas Return Policy (In Effect as of Nov 1st, 2024)
In order to make gift giving easier for our customers, we offer an extended Christmas return policy, as follows. Beginning on November 1st, 2024, for items purchased (*at regular price) as Christmas gifts - returns MUST be received back to us no later than Jan 17th 2025 to be eligible for return for store credit or exchange.
Items purchased at clearance price or during major holiday sale events at 20% off or more do NOT qualify for this extended Christmas return policy. All seasonal decor items are final sale. Holiday returns must still adhere to the other criteria in our regular return policy as indicated below (such as being in new condition, unworn, tags attached, and be free of odour, pet hair, stains), and a completed return form (found below) must still be submitted, prior to sending the item(s) back.
Cancellation Policy: We DO NOT allow cancellation of orders. Please be a mindful shopper. We cannot recover transaction processing fees incurred when orders are cancelled. If you have made an error in the items placed in your order, please email us at care@coldcactusboutique.ca and we would be most happy to make the necessary changes to your order. In the rare event we are willing to make an exception, there will be a 10% restocking fee.
Returns for Store Credit or Exchange Policy:
**Please fill out the return form below prior to sending back your return parcel. No "Approval" or response is needed from the team at Cold Cactus as long as your return meets the criteria below**
In an effort to reduce expensive and time consuming returns, Cold Cactus asks customers to please check all sizing carefully and recommends asking us questions about sizing and fit uncertainties prior to making a purchase if you are unsure about your sizing (preferred form of communication is to email us at care@coldcactusboutique.ca).
In an effort to assist the customer in being pleased with their purchase, The Cold Cactus Boutique offers the following return policy:
In the event that an item does not fit as anticipated, we are happy to accept returns for EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT only if the item meets the following conditions:

All returns must be sent back shipping cost pre-paid (customer is responsible for return shipping cost) and arrive back to The Cold Cactus Boutique within 14 days of initially receiving the product (30 days for regularly stocked denim only). Cold Cactus will cover the cost of shipping back to you for EXCHANGES only.

Returned product must be in NEW condition - items should be free of damage (holes, marks), perfumes, deodorant, other stains, and animal hair.

Original tag(s) must be attached.
- Footwear: Whether sending footwear back for exchange or store credit, the shoe / boot box must be shipped within another box, polymailer, or other packaging. Using the shoe / boot box as the sole shipping vessel with shipping labels or other adhered is not acceptable. In this instance, the footwear would no longer be considered in new condition / resellable and would be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
- **Items being sent back from the USA may only be sent via USPS. Within Canada, you may send back via your desired method. *Please note that The Cold Cactus Boutique is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. It is advised that you keep your tracking information for items being sent back.
All sale items and accessories are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned.
CC Package Protection is non-refundable.
We have the right to refuse any packages sent that do not comply with our return conditions.
Once item(s) is/are received and have been verified to meet the above requirements, your return will be processed within 2-3 business days.
- Returns for size exchange - a replacement will be sent, shipping paid by Cold Cactus, and an updated tracking information provided via email at the time of shipping.
- Returns for store credit will receive an email containing a store credit code with the value of the original purchase amount of the returned item(s), less any shipping and package protection fees, to be used on future order(s) with no expiration.
If an item you receive is damaged or incorrect upon arrival, please contact The Cold Cactus Boutique care@coldcactusboutique.ca within 3 business days of receiving your order and we will gladly assist you in resolving this matter.
