The Barn "It's where we did our chores, learned responsibility, too. Our animals were countin' on us, dad made sure we knew. It's where we sat on the tractor and pretended we could drive. Wishin' we were big enough to wear a hat Dad's size. We played "Cowboys and Indians" with weapons that were toys. But real fights broke out over who got to be cowboys. It's where we became athletes when Dad put up the goals. We learned to compete and face life's toughest roles. Every kid needs a barn like we had back then, to hold all their animals and all their dreams in."
